✏️Initial Asset Registration
When you log in for the first time, the process of registering the assets to be managed for the first time is essential once.
If you do not have assets to manage, you will need to register the assets for the first time. If more than one asset is registered to manage, the process of registering the assets for the first time will not proceed. If you wish to register and manage additional assets after initial asset registration, you can manually register and manage secure assets at any time by clicking the Add button under the Monitoring menu > Sidebar.
If the login is successful for the first time, a 'Register Security Asset Information' window will be displayed where you can select and register security assets by type, as shown in the following screen.
Register secure property information.
Asset Name: Enter the name of the company's secure asset (required)
Asset Tag: Enter the tag name to be attached to the asset and managed. (Optional, up to 20 characters)
- Asset tags are the ability to manage registered assets with tags. Once you set a tag on an asset, you can quickly find an asset by filtering only that tag. By default, one asset is matched with one tag, and if you do not specify an asset tag, it is classified as Unspecified.
Asset tags can create a new asset tag in Add Asset, or you can create a new asset tag by clicking the Create New Tag button in 'Configuration > Tag' Settings. See Managing generated asset tags in 'Configuration > Tag' Settings.
If you want to create a new tag, you can create it by entering it directly into the box. If you did not create it by entering the asset tag at the initial asset registration stage, you can create a new one by registering another asset at any time, or you can create a new asset tag by clicking the Create New Tag button in 'Configuration > Tag' Settings.
Asset Type: Select an asset type (required)
Input value by asset type: The items that can be entered are changed for each asset type selected. The asset type can be selected as domain, server, and cloud (AWS).
- Domain Address : This is the entry that appears when you select a domain. Enter the domain address. To verify a domain address, click the [Verify] button after entering the domain address. Once the domain address is validated, you can proceed with registering the domain.
If you enter a subdomain, only that subdomain will be registered, and if you enter a root domain, you can automatically search for a 'subdomain' to see additional subdomains under the root domain and register them as assets. If you want to manage subdomain assets based on the root domain, please enter the root domain address as 'domain address'.
- Server Address: This field appears when a server is selected. Enter the IP address of the server to manage.
- Cloud Account Information: When you select the cloud option, this input field is displayed. Enter AWS Access Key ID and Secret Access Key.
Once the security asset information has been entered, click the [Register] button to complete the initial setup.
Once registration is complete, the asset card will be added to the sidebar, and the asset's information will be displayed in the right information area.
